Christopher Donshale Sims a.k.a. UniverSouLove learned his love of the written and spoken word through early,creative Rap music.
In 1984 in a household of six, UniverSouLove heard suchartists as The Fat Boys, UTFO and Roxanne Roxanne. His older brothers blasted the music out of boom boxes.
A light clicked in his soul - UniverSouLove knew thatputting pen to pad in such a rhythmic and artistic naturewas his calling.
Shortly after, UniverSouLove found himself in his best friend at the time's home freestyling over music being played on a Fisher Price stereo. It came easy to this fantastic and phenomenal wordsmith!
In the thick of artistry at Haskell Elementary School of Rockford, IL, UniverSouLove was at home honing his writing ability and performance skills at the age of ten.
